Managing Director
Jack our Managing Director , is responsible for SBZ’s day to day operations , as well as leading , implementing and executing the company’s strategy.
He joined SBZ in June 2018 with over 10 years experience as a portfolio manager with a leading regional asset management company .
His work in investments has covered the broad spectrum of the Zambian economy and a deep understanding of the Zambian capital market through participation in IPOs underwriting mandates , capital raising, money market investing , real estate development.
Jack oversees all SBZ operations covering Stockbroking and Corporate Finance Advisory and is actively expanding the SBZ offering in the Zambian capital market to include raising funding for energy projects and application of the Zambian capital to provide innovative solutions for the public and private sector enterprises .
Charles Mate BSc (Chem Eng.), MBA (Finance)
Executive
Charles has been with SBZ since 2004 and served as Managing Director . In 2014 he took a break to accept a Presidential appointment to as an Executive Director of the Industrial Development Corporation ( IDC ) for its operationalisation after its formation in 2014. He returned to SBZ in at the end of 2016 . Earlier , Charles was the Project Manager in the start up of the Lusaka Stock Exchange in 1994 and subsequently served as its first General Manager . . He has been intimately involved in the promotion and development of the Zambian capital market . His current work at SBZ primarily involves project origination and advisory support .
Boniface Mwamba BBA; CFA
Manager Corporate Finance
Boniface joined SBZ in 2017 as a Financial Analyst within the Corporate Finance Division, specializing in corporate finance advisory services, valuations, brokerage research, and investment advisory. He now leads the Corporate Finance Division and manages a team of three Financial Analysts. His role encompasses a spectrum of corporate finance services, including valuations, mergers and acquisitions, debt capital raising, green bond issuance and corporate restructurings.
Stanslas Jere BAcc; ACCA
Finance Manager
Stan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and is fully qualified as a professional accountant to ACCA level . Stan joined SBZ in January 2006.
He is responsible for the accounting and control function at SBZ . This includes budgeting and preparation of management accounts and statutory financial statements
In addition, Stan provides requisite support to the Corporate Finance Department in securing transaction mandates and tracking of projects .
Victoria Kawonga BSc Mathematics of Finance
Analyst
Victoria joined the SBZ Corporate Finance team in 2022 as an Analyst . Her work and input covers the full spectrum of the advisory services provided by SBZ to its clientele . This has involved corporate bond issuance, green bond issuance, sukuk bond issuance, valuation support and corporate action advisory support. In addition, she provides regular analysis and reporting on market activity of listed companies and sponsoring broker support to listed companies
Mchema Chinzewe BA (Hons) Business Economics
Analyst
Mchema joined the SBZ Corporate Finance team in 2021 and has since risen to the position of Senior Analyst. He is a qualified Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA) with additional certifications in investment advisory, insurance, and Six Sigma. His work at Stockbrokers Zambia includes assisting and supporting listed companies with regulatory compliance and continuing listing obligations, preparing quarterly reports, tracking market trends, customer relationship management, advising on corporate actions and undertaking valuations. He has also worked on multiple transactions including debt capital raising, green bond issuances and restructurings.
Amon Chizola BAcc
Analyst
Amon joined SBZ in 2024 as an Analyst . His work includes regular analysis and reporting market activity of listed companies , compliance monitoring and interface with the LuSE.

Mchema joined the SBZ Corporate Finance team in 2021 and has since risen to the position of Senior Analyst.
